NCAA Tournament: Leopards Rally Past Penn State-Behrend

The No. 5 University of La Verne Leopards overcame a shock first-set upset to cruise past Penn State-Behrend, 3-1, in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Championship.

After PSB came out on fire with a .303 hitting percentage to steal the first set, 25-22, ULV showed why it was ranked No. 1 in the country for most of the season with an absolutely dominant final three sets in which the Leopards outscored their opponnt 75-13. La Verne did not commit a single hitting error in either the second or third set, smacking 14 kills in each with a high hitting percentage of .875 on just 16 attacks in the third. Myra Ray finished with 13 kills while Zacky Coaston hit .714 (five kills on seven attacks), Abigail Montana recorded seven blocks and Keilani Mumolo registered 15 digs.
