The University of La Verne's Mya Ray has been named the AVCA National Player of the Year atop the All-America teams, which included four other SCIAC volleyball student-athletes.

Ray was the lone First Team selection from the SCIAC while teammate Lauren Gott was named to the Third Team and Brooke McKee of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges made the Second Team. A third Leo in Zacky Coaston and Whittier College's Mia D'Amato earned Honorable Mention recognition.
