No. 5 University of La Verne defeated No. 4 University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, 3-1, to advance to the semifinals of the 2025 NCAA Championship.

AVCA Player of the Year Mya Ray led all players with a massive 27 kills on a .351 hitting percentage and rounded out a comprehensive line with eight digs, three blocks, two aces and an assist. Zacky Coaston came up with 11 kills and seven blocks, including two solo.
 
A hot start saw the Leopards take the first two sets before UWEC made a run with a dominant third. A back-and-forth next set was anyone’s to win until a late run by ULV to claim the victory and earn a chance to face No. 16 Berry College, which earlier in the day handed No. 1 East Texas Baptist University its only loss of the season. First serve is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time but could be delayed as it follows the first match of the day in Bloomington, Ill.
