Wallwork was 5-for-5 for 50 yards through the air and ran for 85 yards and three touchdowns in Azusa Pacific's 35-17 win over Whittier. In the second quarter alone, the first-year quarterback rushed for a pair of touchdowns to put the Cougars up 14-3 at the break. 

Defensive Athlete of the Week
Name: Tyler Boynton
School: Chapman
Year: Junior
Position/Number: Defensive Lineman/#90
Hometown/High School: La Jolla, Calif./The Bishop's School

Chapman defeated Linfield in a crucial non-conference game in which Boynton recorded a strip sack that led to points for the Panthers. On the opening possession of the second half, the La Jolla, Calif., native was able to get to the quarterback and forced a fumble, which was recovered by Chapman. The Panthers capitalized with a touchdown on the ensuing drive and went on to win, 24-21.

Name: Jason Bruce
School: Chapman
Year: 5th Year
Position/Number: Wide Receiver/#18
Hometown/High School: Garden Grove, Calif./La Habra

With Linfield set to punt in the second quarter, Bruce broke the line, caught the ball off of the kick, and scored the first points of the game. He also added seven receptions for 84 yards and the go-ahead touchdown in Chapman's win.
