Offensive Athlete of the Week

Joe Farley
School: California Lutheran
Year: Junior
Position/Number: Quarterback/#5
Hometown/High School: Seattle, Wash/Ballard H.S.

Farley led the Kingsmen to a 40-14 win over Redlands by completing 16 of his 26 passing attempts for 260 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for a touchdown on his lone rushing attempt. Tied 14-14 in the second half, the junior quarterback threw two touchdowns of over 30 yards to put Cal Lutheran ahead.

Defensive Athlete of the Week

School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Sophomore
Position/Number: Linebacker/#10
Hometown/High School: East Palo Alto, Calif./Palo Alto

The Stags held Pomona-Pitzer to just 10 points in their 22-10 win, and Kessler contributed 14 tackles, including two for losses. After stopping a run on 3rd & 3 in the first quarter, the sophomore once again forced a fourth down in the second quarter with a tackle for loss. Later in the second, Kessler had a sack on fourth down to end another Sagehens possession.

Hometown/High School: Bonney Lake, Wash./Skyline

Lee made five of his six field goal attempts and converted his lone extra-point attempt in CMS's win over the Sagehens. His five successful field goals broke the single-game program record, which was previously set at three. The sophomore's longest field goal of the day was a 46-yarder late in the fourth quarter to put the Stags ahead, 19-10.
