Facing CETYS Universidad in Whittier's second game of the year, Keyes ran the ball seven times for 182 yards and two touchdowns. After breaking a 66-yard touchdown with under nine minutes left in the second quarter, the first-year ran in a 76-yard score with less than a minute left before halftime.

Name: Jordan Barber

Barber totaled nine tackles, including four solo, in the Poets' 56-20 win. In coverage, he also added two pass breakups. 

Special Teams Athlete of the Week
Name: Preston Yado
School: Whittier
Year: Sophomore
Position/Number: Kick/#17
Hometown/High School: West Covina, Calif./Damien

The Whittier offense scored eight touchdowns on the day, and each scoring drive was capped off by a successful extra-point attempt by Yado. On kickoffs, the sophomore recorded a pair of touchbacks and averaged 60.6 yards per attempt.
