The second-seeded Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens advanced over the University of Redlands, 11-1, in the 2026 SCIAC Baseball Tournament while the Bulldogs will now face an elimination game tomorrow.

A scoreless duel defined the first three innings as both pitchers racked up strikeouts before the hosts put up a four-spot in the fourth inning. The Sagehens then broke the game open in the seventh the inning for the run-rule to go into effect.

Landon Hu smashed a home run as part of a 2-for-3 day with three RBI, two runs and a walk while Peter Savas recorded three hits with two RBI and one run scored from the leadoff spot. Max Brunngraber lasted for the entirety of the shortened complete game, whiffing seven against just five hits and one walk.

Pomona-Pitzer will host defending champion University of La Verne tomorrow at 3 p.m. with a spot in the championship series on the line while the Bulldogs head to top-seeded Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges with both teams needing a win to continue in the tournament.
