Richardson slashed .625/.700/1.000 to key a doubleheader sweep for Whittier College against Chapman University to qualify for a first SCIAC Tournament berth since 2019. The rookie scored four runs and drove in two RBI while walking twice in the series.

Name: Jacynda Lindsay
School: Occidental

Hometown/High School: El Segundo, Calif. / El Segundo
 
Lindsay earned the win in two starts as Occidental College swept California Lutheran University to close the regular season. The rookie tossed 12.1 innings including a complete-game shutout with just three hits allowed in the final game to complete the sweep.
