The top-seeded Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens advanced over Chapman University, 17-3, in the semifinals of the 2026 SCIAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament on Wednesday night.
A closely contested first quarter did not result in a leader as both sides made several strong defensive plays, but the hosts began to stretch out a lead early in the second frame. Madeleine Trapp led the way with three goals and four assists while Caili Cross also netted a hat trick.
The Sagehens will host Claremont--Mudd-Scripps Colleges in the final on Saturday, May 2 at 7 p.m.
