Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges defeated Whitman College, 20-10, in the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship to advance to the regional final hosted by Pomona-Pitzer Colleges.
 
The Athenas wasted no time from the outset, scoring eight goals in the first quarter and leading comfortably throughout. Amelia Ulmer netted six goals with two assists while Grace Minturn contributed five goals and four assists. Lyla Johnston made seven saves on nine shots faced in the first half.
 
CMS will face Pomona-Pitzer tomorrow, Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m.
