The Pomona-Pitzer women's water polo team will compete at the USA Water Polo Division III National Championships Saturday and Sunday at Axelrood Pool hosted by CMS.

The Sagehens finished the regular season with a perfect 12-0 mark in SCIAC play to earn their seventh straight conference regular season title. After defeating Chapman in the SCIAC Tournament semifinals, Pomona-Pitzer narrowly fell 14-10 to CMS in the SCIAC Championship game. The win gave the Athenas the right to host this year's USA Water Polo National Championships.

Pomona-Pitzer will look to win its fifth straight national championship this weekend, having defeated CMS in each of the last three championship games and Whittier in 2022.
