Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges defeated Carthage College, 24-5, in the semifinals of the USA Water Polo Division III Championship and will play for another national title tomorrow.

The visitors hung around through a 5-3 first quarter before the Athenas locked in to post a five-goal advantage in the second and then posted a second-half shutout. Grace Clark led CMS with five goals and three assists while Caitlin Munoz added three of each.

The Athenas will face SCIAC regular season champion Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in the final on Sunday, April. 26 at 12:30 p.m.
