No. 19 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges bowed out in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship, 79-62, at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

The Stags built up an eight-point lead at 19-11 midway through the first half before the hosts rallied behind a 10-1 run and never looked back. CMS won the rebounding battle and held an eight-point edge in the paint but could not overcome a 20-free throw deficit. Will Householter led three Stags scoring in double figures with 18 points while Joey Kennedy just missed a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds.
