No. 9 University of Redlands succumbed at No. 17 Hood College, 114-104, to bow out in the second round of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

The hosts shot 59 percent with 42 points from Jevon Yarbrough to outpace the Bulldogs, who doubled Hood's three-pointers made and free throw production until resorting to fouling down the stretch as well as forcing twice as many turnovers. Omari Ferguson dropped 26 points as six Bulldogs scored in double figures, including an 18-point, 15-rebound double-double from SCIAC Athlete of the Year Lucas Gordon.
