No. 19 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges defeated Aurora University, 84-60, in the first round of the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.

Joey Kennedy posted a massive double-double with 24 points and 16 rebounds while three other Stags also scored in double figures. CMS rode a glistening 21:6 assist-to-turnover ratio and 15-rebound edge to the decisive win.

CMS will await the winner of the other regional game which includes host University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
