ULV's Ray Named AVCA National Player of the Week

University of La Verne outside hitter Mya Ray has been named the AVCA National Player of the Week.

Ray led No. 5 La Verne to a trio of impressive wins to UW-Oshkosh Invitational. She had double-doubles vs. No. 3 Wisconsin-Oshkosh (24K-20D) and No. 8 Hope (24K-15D), and her 60 total kills over the weekend move her to the top of the La Verne list for career kills. She becomes the school’s first AVCA Division III WVB Player of the Week.
