Kautai and the University of Redlands opened the week with a 3-1 road win at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges before outlasting No. 17 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in five sets. The rookie smacked 35 kills on a .284 hitting percentage in the two victories, including a 20-kill, 19-dig double-double against CMS. Kautai totaled 42 kills, 30 digs, five assists and five aces over the three matches on the week.

Hometown/High School: Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. / St. Lucy’s
 
Mumolo anchored the No. 1 University of La Verne defense in another 3-0 week that included wins over No. 17 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and California Lutheran University in five sets. The senior totaled 39 digs and 16 assists with three aces and a kill to keep the Leopards’ historic season going.
