Mountanos led Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to a pair of wins in Kentucky against Muskingum University and Maryville University. The senior notched double-digit kills in all three matches on the weekend with a .284 hitting percentage to go with four digs and three blocks.

Gonzalez racked up 58 digs (4.83 per set) as Whittier College split four matches including a defeat to No. 18 Hope College but sweeps over Mary Washington University and University of Mount Union at the Worthingon Classic in Washington, D.C. The sophomore also contributed 11 assists, two aces and a kill while committing a single error in any facet of the match.
