Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges linebacker George Kruger has been named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week.

Kruger had a career-high 20 tackles, 11 solo, to help CMS to a comeback overtime win over La Verne. He had seven of his tackles in the fourth quarter alone, as he had a key role in helping the Stags come back from a 16-6 fourth-quarter deficit to tie the game at the end of regulation and win it 22-19 in overtime. He also finished with 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble on the afternoon.
