Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges bowed out of the semifinals of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championship, 4-3 to Wesleyan University.
Box Score
A tightly contested doubles point went Wesleyan’s way thanks to wins at courts #2 (6-3) and #3 (6-4), though
Lindsay Eisenman and
Rebecca Kong took the top court, 6-3. That same duo picked up the Athenas’ first two points with straight-set victories at the top two singles courts and
Ananya Ariniketh brought CMS within one point of clinching the match with 7-5, 7-5 win at #3. The final point provided elusive, however, and Wesleyan went on to win in third sets on each of the bottom three courts.
Several Athenas will go on to play in the individual tournament beginning this weekend.
