Lauren Rha of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges and
Rebecca Kong of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges have been named Academic All-America by the College Sports Communicators.
Rha posted a 9-2 singles mark in 2025-26, winning each of her last eight matches. She also went 10-6 in doubles play on the season. She was named SCIAC Athlete of the Year following the regular season, becoming the fourth consecutive Sagehen to receive the award. The senior reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA individual singles tournament and qualified for doubles with partner
Leticia Bazua Vazquez.
Kong teamed with
Lindsay Eisenman to win the NCAA individual doubles title after also claiming the same honors in the fall ITA Cup. The sophomore helped lead the Athenas to the semifinals of the national team competition playing primarily #2 singles for CMS.
