Stitt captured the individual title at SCIAC #2 with a one-over par two-day score of 145, including a -2 closing round to secure the win by three strokes. The sophomore’s two eagles and five birdies helped power California Lutheran University to a second-place team finish.
 
Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week
Name: Annabelle Chan
School: Pomona-Pitzer
Year: First-year
Course: Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon
Hometown/High School: Walnut, Calif. / Polytechnic School
 
Chan earned top individual medalist honors by two strokes in leading No. 4 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to a one-stroke team victory at SCIAC #2. The rookie carded three birdies, including two on the tournament-low second round of two-over par to secure the title.
