Didrickson generated 10 combined runs including on a pair of home runs for No. 15 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in a sweep of No. 17 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. The senior notched a pair of three-hit games and contributed to five of the Stags’ six runs in the 6-2 doubleheader opener on Saturday.

Name: Brendan Flaherty
School: Caltech

Hometown/High School: Narragansett, R.I. / Lake Forest Acad.
 
Flaherty twirled a complete-game shutout for Caltech’s first SCIAC victory of the season over Whittier College. The senior struck out five batters, including three looking, while working around seven hits, four walks and a hit-by-pitch to keep the Beavers on top in the 2-0 victory.
