ULV's Perry, Holguin, PP's Berry Named to D3baseball.com Team of Week

Three SCIAC baseball student-athletes have been named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week, bringing this season’s total to 12 across the conference.

C Nathan Perry, Sr., La Verne
Perry delivered an outstanding performance over three games. The catcher tallied five hits and scored five runs, including a double and a triple, while driving in six RBIs. He also drew two walks and added a stolen base, showcasing his all-around impact. Perry finished the stretch with a stellar .500 batting average, a .615 on-base percentage, and a powerful .800 slugging percentage.
 
3B  Cooper Berry, Jr., Pomona-Pitzer
Berry slashed .667/.786/1.556 in the Sagehens’ 2-1 series win at Lewis & Clark with two homers, two doubles and six RBIs. He posted 14 total bases and scored six runs. Berry also drew four walks and one hit by pitc.
 
SP  Jack Holguin, Fr., La Verne
Holguin delivered a historic performance in his lone start of the week. The left-hander tossed his first career no-hitter, and was dominant across 7 innings. He allowed no hits and no runs while issuing zero walks and striking out 10. He finished with a perfect 0.00 ERA and 0.00 WHIP, leading the way with complete command on the mound.
