The second-seeded Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Athenas defeated top seed California Lutheran University, 69-58, to win the SCIAC Women's Basketball Tournament final.

The visiting Athenas separated in a dominant 16-4 second quarter and turned away a late CLU rally that came within two points to win their first SCIAC Tournament since 2017.
Caleigh Edwards led both teams with 23 points and completed the double-double with 11 rebounds while also dishing out four assists, nabbing five steals and going 14-for-14 from the free-throw line.
Katie Resendiz added 18 points and eight rebounds while Tournament Most Outstanding Player
Tanya Ghai also double-doubled with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
