Rattay won the 400-meter dash in 48.80 and split a 47.9 to lead the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges 4x400 Relay team to rally past Nevada State University at the season-opening OIDFE Challenge.

Year: Sophomore
Events: Sprints/Jumps
Hometown/High School: Valencia, Calif. / Valencia (Chico State)
 
Division III debutant Thompson cleared a personal-best 6.86 meters (22 feet, six inches) in the long jump for California Lutheran University at the Moorpark College Season Opener. The sophomore multi-sport athlete also contributed on the Kingsmen’s 4x400 Relay team that placed fifth at the multi-divisional competition.
