Rocha led Whittier College to historic double dual meet victories over Occidental College, 175-101, and the University of Redlands, 141-130. The junior’s 20.74 50-yard freestyle split on the 200 Free Relay clinched the meet for the Poets following victory in the individual 50 Free and  runner-up finishes in the 200 Medley Relay and 100 Fly to teammate Honza Zika.
 
 
Diver of the Week
Name: Reid Omilian
School: Chapman
Year: Senior
Events: 1m/3m
Hometown/High School: Vail, Colo. / Culver
 
Omilian won the 1-meter diving competition for Chapman University and was runner-up to teammate Jake Randazzo on the 3m. The senior scored 337.65 points on the 1m and 348.25 on the 3m in a final career dual meet ahead of the SCIAC Championships.
