Allyn Asberry-Blanco graduated with a degree in environmental studies with a minor in Latin American studies & race and ethnic studies. He is a former All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) and All-American track and field jumper.
He earned All-SCIAC honors three times, earning it in the triple jump at each SCIAC Championship from 2023-25. In 2023 he was the SCIAC champion in the triple jump. In May of 2025 he qualified for his first NCAA Outdoor Championship in the triple jump. He took 13 th (14.63m, 48’ 0”) which earned his Second Team All-American honors. Asberry-Blanco ended his career with four top 10 program marks between indoor and outdoor. Indoors he is tied for ninth with a 60m hurdle time of 9.04, eighth in the high jump with a mark of 1.78m, and holds the triple jump record at 14.11m. Outdoors he is fifth in the triple jump at 14.69m. In the triple he is the lone Bulldog to be inside the top five that competed in the 2020s and one of three from the 21 st century.
Outside of competition he spent summer of 2024 as a conservation intern for the Eastern Sierra Land Trust. And he recently began working at a U.S. Olympic training facility at the National Whitewater Center.
