Three SCIAC competitors combined to record four national runner-up performances on the final day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Pomona-Pitzer Colleges'
Quinn White finished second in both the 1500-meter and 5k runs while Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges duo
Kaden Cassidy and
Colin Scanlon also were runners-up in the hammer throw and 400m hurdles, respectively.
The Sagehens tied for ninth as a team with 22 points while the Stags tied for 13th on 16 points. The Athenas tied for 59th (three) and Chapman University tied for 73rd (one).
