Pomona-Pitzer Colleges senior Cameron Hatler placed sixth in the 10000-meter run on the first night of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Teammate Quinn White and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges senior Colin Scanlon also qualified for finals in the 1500m and 400h, respectively. The CMS 4x400 Relay also will run in the finals heat after qualifying in eighth.
