Fara won both the 200- and 400-meter dashes at the inaugural SCIAC Quad Cup Sun men’s final, clocking the top times in the conference this season. The junior tied a Chapman University program record with a 46.93 in the 400m that ranks second in DIII this spring and posted a 21.36 that also ranks as the second-fastest win-legal 200m time in DIII. The 4x100 Relay team including Fara also placed second in 41.56.

School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Sophomore
Events: Hammer Throw
Hometown/High School: Lexington, Mass. / Lexington
Cassidy added 11 feet in the hammer throw to notch a new personal-best throw of 192 feet, 11 inches that ranks fourth in Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges history as part of a narrow 2.5-point CMS victory in the inaugural SCIAC Quad Cup Sun men’s final. The senior also moved up five positions on the national performance list to tie for fourth in Division III this spring.
