The Division III No 2 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges Sagehens advanced over No. 8 MIT with an 11-7 victory to reach the USA Water PoloDIII National Championship final.

Pomona-Pitzer steadily built and extended a game-long lead with a one-goal margin through the first quarter stretching to three by halftime and four through three quarters. Indigo Lee and Zach Whitfield each bagged a brace to spearhead a balanced attack while Greg Moore stopped 11 shots.

The Sagehens will face host RV/No. 1 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in the National Championship final tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 7 at 12 p.m.
