Hendrickson clocked the top 100-yard breaststroke time in the SCIAC this season and a Whittier College program-record 1:05.35 at the inter Collegiate Invite hosted by the University of La Verne at East Los Angeles College. The junior also topped the conference chart in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:24.60 just .07 ahead of teammate Aira Takeuchi in addition to posting the first sub-1:00 100 IM time in the SCIAC this season at 59.26.
 
Diver of the Week
Name: Ava Balanon
School: Caltech
Year: Sophomore
Events: 1m/3m
Hometown/High School: Vacaville, Calif. / Buckingham Coll. Charter Acad.
 
Balanon won the 1-meter diving competition in the Caltech Invite with a score of 301.10 as the only competitor in a field of eight to top 300 points and continued to post a program-record 510.00 in the continuing 11-dive exhibition. The sophomore also finished as the runner-up on the 3m board with a 282.40.
