Burkhardt won individual titles in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle to lead No. 8 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to a team victory at the DIII Shootout in Chicago. Both the 100 (50.58) and 200 (1:49.97) were well under the NCAA ‘B’ cut standard, as were all three relays the rookie joined including the victorious 200 and 800 Free Relays.

Sabeeh made the NCAA ‘B’ cut with wins on both diving boards for No. 11 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges in a double-dual meet with Chapman University and Whittier College. The rookie edged out teammate Meilan Uyeno by seven points on the 1-meter board (276.65) and posted a score of 293.45 on the 3m.
