Latu racked up a career-high 137 yards on 29 carries as RV Chapman University controlled the game in a 30-14 victory over the University of La Verne. The junior broke a 49-yard run that was the longest play of the game on a key 90-yard touchdown drive in a tune-up for the SCIAC Championship game.

Name: Trevor Carson
School: Pomona-Pitzer

Carson scored on a 32-yard pick-six just before halftime to stake Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to a 21-0 lead that enabled the Sagehens to weather three second-half touchdowns in a 28-18 win over California Lutheran University. The senior also led the team with eight tackles – all solo – in in holding the Kingsmen to a season low-tying 18 points.

Hometown/High School: Crown Point, Ind. / Crown Point
Brewer connected on all four extra-point attempts an downed four of six punts inside the 20-yard line in a 28-14 victory at the University of Redlands. The senior booted a 63-yarder for a second consecutive week after setting a career high with 66 yards last week and pinned the Bulldogs inside the 3-yard line on two occasions, including with just 4:15 left in the game to seal the win.
