Xu won both the 100-yard freestyle (46.41) and butterfly (49.82) for No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges against Division I California Baptist University. The rookie also placed second in the 100 Back with a 51.17 and holds the top time in the SCIAC in all three events early this season.

Name: Tommy Matheis
School: Pomona-Pitzer
Year: Sophomore
Events: 3m/1m
Hometown/High School: Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif. / Tesoro
 
Matheis placed second in the 1-meter diving competition and third on the 3m board against CBU. The reigning SCIAC Diver and Newcomer of the Year scored a 295.70 on the 3m and a 269.55 on the 1m.
