Xu picked up two wins for No. 19 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at the DIII Shootout in Chicago, claiming the individual title in the 100-yard backstroke (49.43) and opening the 200 Free Relay with a 20.89 flat-start split. The rookie also finished fourth with a 1:40.42 in the 200 Free and swam a 21.63 butterfly split on the runner-up 200 Medley Relay.

Name: Reid Omilian
School: Chapman
Year: Senior

Hometown/High School: Vail, Colo. / Culver
 
Omilian won on both boards in a dual meet with Whittier College, easily clearing the NCAA ‘B’ qualifying standard with a score of 347.10 on the 1-meter and putting up 301.55 points in the 3m competition.
