Roth had a great individual effort to help give the Athenas a 2-1 road win over Macalester on Sunday. The junior midfielder was able to settle a long pass from Carmel Randolph with a leaping trap with her foot at shoulder level. Once the ball fell at her feet 30 yards from goal, she was then able to one-time a chip over the head of the Macalester goalkeeper to put CMS in front 1-0. It was her second key goal of the season, after also picking up the game-winner late in a 2-1 win over UC Santa Cruz last week.

Name: Vivian Rojas Collins
School: Pomona-Pitzer
Year: Senior
Position/Number: Goalkeeper/#1
Hometown/High School: Novato, CA/Branson HS
Facing off against No. 3 University of Chicago, Rojas helped limit the Maroons to one goal. In what was a tightly contested match, the Maroons were able to take just 12 shots, of which eight were on goal.
