Commissioner Jennifer Dubow announced the hiring of Shaun Nadkarni as Assistant Commissioner, effective July 6, 2026.

Nadkarni has spent the past two years as Assistant Athletic Communications Manager  at New York University, where he oversaw the broadcast and statistical operations for the Violets' varsity teams. He also helped generate content and maintain the presentation of the athletics website and the promotion of NYU's student-athletes, coaches and teams. He previously served as a graduate communications assistant at NYU and Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Franklin & Marshall College

“Shaun is a passionate storyteller with a broad skill set that will be a fantastic addition to the conference office as we expand to 10 teams,” Dubow said. “His experience promoting national-championship caliber teams and producing high-quality broadcasts will be tremendous assets as the SCIAC continues to elevate.”

Nadkarni will oversee communications efforts including broadcast production, social media, statistics, archives and thesciac.org content management system. He will also assist with conference championships, governance and other operations.

“I could not be more excited to join the SCIAC,” Nadkarni said. “From several years of Division III experience, I understand how rich the history of this conference is and I am looking forward to continuing to tell its story.”

Nadkarni holds a Master of Science degree in Global Sport from NYU after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Rutgers University.
