No. 6 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges turned in a second consecutive strong round to move up two places into sixth at +30 while No. 9 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps fell back four positions but held at eighth (+32) after the third round of the 2026 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championship.
Riley Wang turned in the top SCIAC round of the day at -1 including three straight birdies on Holes 12-14 while
Anabelle Chan totaled five birdies in an Even-par showing for the Sagehens and is the top-ranked SCIAC player at +5 for the tournament, currently tied for 20
th.
Repeating the Firecliff course played by both teams yesterday, each maintained their strength relative to the field as top-five performers on Par 4’s while the Sagehens clung within the top 10 on Par 5’s.
The pair will flip starting positions from today for tomorrow’s final round as Pomona-Pitzer tees off on Hole 1 at 7:50 a.m. while CMS begins on Hole 10 at 8:10 a.m.
