Stags Hang Among Leading Pack as Second Round Nearly Concludes

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges came one hole shy of completing the second round while still hanging among the top four teams at the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship.
 
The No. 7 Stags played three-over par golf to be tied for third with No. 4 Carnegie Mellon University four strokes behind No. 9 Illinois Wesleyan University, which posted a tournament-low -9 one stroke ahead of No. 8 Washington and Lee. Arnold He remained at -4 and is tied for fifth individually while Sebi Aliaga also carded an Even-par round ahead of the cut.
 
Jay Wing, competing individually for the University of Redlands, is tied for 51st at +4 and will hope to be able to continue playing after the cut while John Kim of Pomona-Pitzer Colleges is tied for 113th at +9.
 
Samson Li will finish hole 18 at 4:30 a.m. PT before round three commences.
