Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges played with the leading title contenders for most of the third round at the 2026 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship before settling into a tie for fourth place at two-over par.
Sebi Aliaga turned in the best round on the course with a bogey-free, five-below par 67 to move into a tie for fifth place at -5, two shots behind the leading trio after carding Even-par 72 for each of the first two rounds.

Jamison Tan finished the day at +2 and
Arnold He remained one-under par for the tournament which ties for 13
th individually.
After playing each of the El Campeon and Las Colinas courses at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. over the first two rounds, the field was back on the El Campeon course that played toughest on the week at an average of 77.03 strokes for the first round when CMS carded a -4, though after the cut played nearly three strokes easier among the contending teams. The Stags have made their biggest impact playing the Par 4s cleanly, with a stroke average of 4.11 ranking fourth behind leader Carnegie Mellon University’s 4.08. First-place Illinois Wesleyan University has recorded both the fewest bogeys and most pars of the tournament, the latter by a whopping 13 which has made the difference without the Titans ranking among the top 10 in birdies. Aliaga has tied for the second-best score on Par 3s at -2 and is tied-fifth at Even-par on Par 4s.
CMS will face the Las Colinas course alongside the rest of the field tomorrow with the championship on the line. He opened the second round with a birdie on the first hole while a pair of Stags birdied both Holes 5 and 6 and a trio birdied the Par-5 13
th on Wednesday before final five holes proved tricky to the tune of six bogeys.
