Scheid scored a hat trick and added two draw controls for Chapman University in a tight 13-11 victory over the University of Redlands. The junior’s second tally broke a 7-7 tie and sparked a four-goal run before securing the win with a third strike for the insurance goal.

Grace caused two turnovers and collected three ground balls for No. 10 Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in a 20-2 victory at Occidental College.
