Eight Teams Ranked in Learfield Directors' Cup Winter Update

Eight SCIAC institutions have been ranked in the Learfield Directors' Cup update through winter seasons, led by Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges and Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in 32nd and 33rd place, respectively.

Athenas swimming & diving led CMS with a 10th-place finish in addition to the men's team placing 45th while men's basketball reached the second round of the NCAA Championship and women's basketball earned the conference's automatic bid. 

Both Sagehen swimming & diving teams also scored, with the women's team placing eighth and the men's finishing in 16th. Reid Omilian earned a 46th-place finish for Chapman University men's swimming & diving while Whittier College placed 32nd thanks to Honza Zika and Thomas Langlois. The University of Redlands also made the second round of the men's NCAA Championship.
