The Chapman University Panthers advanced over Whittier College, 16-12, in the First Round of the 2026 SCIAC Women's Water Polo Tournament on Tuesday night.

Kendall Pappan led the hosts with four goals and an assist, helping to build a big early lead while Zoey Francis turned away 17 shots. Alexandra Haluska paced the Poets with five goals.

The Panthers will face top-seeded Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in a semifinal on Thursday night.
