Name: Josephine Jett
School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Junior
Events: Sprints
Hometown/High School: Sacramento, Calif. / Rio Americano
 
Jett claimed three individual event victories and contributed on the winning 4x100 Relay as Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges captured the SCIAC Quad Cup Championship. The junior swept the 100- and 200-meter dash as well as the 100m hurdles, in which Jett re-broke the Athenas program record set at last year’s NCAA Championship by .10.
 
Field Athlete of the Week
Name: Madeline Seifert
School: Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
Year: Senior
Events: Jumps
Hometown/High School: Chino, Calif. / Ayala
 
Seifert won both the pole vault and long jump to help Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges secure the SCIAC Quad Cup Championship. A mark of 12 feet, 0.5 inches in the pole vault ranks seventh in Division III this spring while personal-best 17 feet, 8.75-inch long jump sits in 32nd.
