Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges catcher Max Pemberton has been named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week.

Pemberton hit 9-for-14 (.643) with 10 RBI to help CMS to a 4-0 record so far at the Tucson Invitational Games, with wins over Hamline, Aurora, Mississippi University for Women, and Carthage. His week included four doubles and two home runs for a 1.357 slugging percentage, and he also was a perfect 3-3 stealing bases for the Stags. 

The catcher joins seven prior honorees this season:

Week 1: OF Kai Gonzaga (Pomona-Pitzer), RP Griffen Rogers (Occidental)
 
Week 2: 1B Jesse Bullard (Redlands), OF Kai Gonzaga (Pomona-Pitzer), OF Ian Umscheid (Redlands)
 
Week 3: 1B James Quintero (Pomona-Pitzer)     
 
Week 4: DH Collin O’Driscoll (Whittier)
