#3 La Verne is back in the SCIAC Men's Soccer Final for the first time since 2015 after a 4-0 win over #2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Thursday, November 5, in Claremont, Calif.

The Leopards scored twice in each half, including a pair of goals inside of the opening 28 minutes. After opening the scoring in the 24th minute on a goal by Isaiah Barber, Alexander Bastidas found the back of the net just four minutes later.

Then, just 15 minutes removed from halftime, La Verne grew its lead to 3-0 after Juan Manzano tallied a goal. Manzano would later record an assist on a goal by Julian Arellano in the 74th minute, which capped off the scoring.

In a battle between the #3 and #5 seeds, La Verne will host Whittier for the SCIAC Tournament Championship on Sunday, November 8, at 1 p.m. in La Verne, Calif.
