Woods poured in 16.0 points on 8.0 field goals per game as Chapman University went 3-1 on the week, including wins over Howard Payne University, Crown College and RV California Lutheran University. The junior notched two double-doubles while also averaging 9.0 rebounds per game to go with five assists, three steals and a block in total.

Hood racked up 13 steals in four games as Whittier College defeated Bridgewater State University and Wesleyan College at the D3hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas before notching a SCIAC victory over Occidental College. The junior’s suffocating pressure helped limit Wesleyan to a mere 3-for-25 on long-range efforts with the Poets allowing just 54.5 points per game, even holding No. 13 Amherst College to just 46 in a one-basket defeat.
