Ballard posted double-doubles in RV California Lutheran University wins over Whittier College and Caltech to open SCIAC play. The junior averaged 19.0 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in each game to go with four assists, four steals and two blocks to keep the Regals unbeaten.

Wick recorded a massive 19-point, 17-rebound double-double with four steals for the University of Redlands to open SCIAC play with a win over Chapman University. The Bulldogs also held the University of California, Santa Cruz to just 43 points in a nonconference victory.
